CMS Best Paper Prize is awarded annually by the editors to a selected publication during the year conveying the quality and scope of the Journal.

The above paper has been awarded the best paper prize for 2007 by the editors for its attempt to convince stochastic programming users that simple computational tools may facilitate their application. The paper presents an open source tool, based on the modelling language AMPL, that automatically generates the deterministic equivalent of stochastic programming.
