Prior to co-founding ORDECSYS, Alain Haurie was Professor of Operations Research at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, from 1989 until 2005, where he taught Decision Theory and modeling techniques as part of the Business Management curiculum. Prior to that he was Professor at the Department of Management Sciences at HEC-Montréal, Canada. He has led a number of Swiss and EU government-funded projects on the modeling of energy and economic policy under environmental constraints. ORDECSYS co-founder Jean-Philippe Vial was Professor of Production Management at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, from 1986 to 2006. He is an expert in risk management and in large-scale model optimization. He created a number of optimization software packages. Short CV in pdf
Eric Jacquet-Lagrèze is a consultant in Operations Research and has conducted numerous optimization projects. Prior to being a consultant he was Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Paris Dauphine. He published many journal articles and academic books on Linear Programming and Mutli-Criteria Analysis. He graduated from Ecole Centrale de Paris and also holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Management Science.
Frédéric Babonneau holds a degree in Engineering and Applied Mathematical and a Ph.D. in Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Geneva. He specializes in the optimization of non-differentiable and large-scale models, and in the optimization of transportation problems. CV as a pdf (in french).
Laurent Drouet holds a degree in Engineering and Applied Mathematical and a Ph.D. in Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Geneva. He has developed a number of software decision systems for applications such as the integrated evaluation of climate change , the optimization of energy systems, the optimal design of drinking water networks, etc.
Julien Thénié holds a degree in Engineering and Applied Mathematical and a Ph.D. in Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Geneva. He specializes in Optimization under Uncertainty.
